Thats all for today, no reference. The reference in the last chapter was to the Magics and Hierarchs back-story.
I am building the house^
Vechs could not sleep. He rolled over and checked the time, reading it off the clock he left in his drawer. 1:54 AM. Too early. This house was creaky, and Vechs was a light sleeper. He constantly thought the Inquisitors were coming for him, and new people were coming, so sleeping was unnecessary! Vechs got up and crept downstairs.
Vechs sat by the bottom of the stairs and waited. He dozed off for a while, then there was a knock on the door. The housekeeper went to open the door.
"I'm looking for Mr. Soares..?"
"Right this way."
A black-haired boy waved to Vechs, and seemed to fade away. Vechs blinked. What? The boy had vanished!
Someone started pounding on the door. The housekeeper was not back yet, so Vechs went to open the door. Outside stood an impatient-looking teenager who Vechs thought to be about 13 and... he had purple eyes?
"Just let me see Mr. Soares."
"Sure... okay... um, right this way..."
The boy appeared in front of Vechs. He turned around. "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, but I can teleport!"
Vechs decided to go back to bed.
~A few hours later...~
Paul talked to them over breakfast (It was supposed to be at 7, but they must have been tired so he postponed it until 8). The black-haired guy was Etho, and he could become invisible. The other boy was Nebris, and he could teleport. He was supposedly descended from the Ender Dragon? Whut?
A knock on the door. Paul stood up and strode to the door. He opened it and invited the girl standing outside the door into the house. "Kids, this is... "Aureylian. I can heal people, and create light, and..." She pointed at Nebris. "You don't really like me at all. Red." She pointed at Etho. "You don't really care. Gray.". Then she pointed at Vechs. "You...I don't know. You're blue, which means... you actually care?" Vechs was surprised. Aureylian continued, "Yep, I'm an empath. I can tell people's emotions, in a derpy kind of way. I can't read you mind, though. It's safe."
